Warstler
Cemetery is the scene of this
image from June, 1917. The reverse side of the source photo reads, "In Warstlers Cemetery June
1917". The identity of these people is not known. It is assumed that
it was taken at the cemetery in Middlebranch, Plain Twp., that is now known as
"Henry Cemetery", located at coordinates N40º 51.575' W081º 20.163' (WGS84).
This cemetery was formerly known as "(Henry) Warstler Church
Cemetery".

Unknown
man standing in front of a school building. The building in the background
has carving in the stonework over the doorway that reads, "PUBLIC SCHOOL". This
is also a date carved in the stonework above the window but it is too fuzzy to decipher
accurately. It looks like it may read "1889". There is writing
on the reverse side of the source photo which appears to be something like
"James G. A. Hershey".

Parnassus Presbyterian Church ladies' Sunday school class
in New Kensington, PA. Ruth Kimble, who married Terry Will Brown, is in
the back row of this photo, 3rd woman from the right. She was born in
1894, so I'm guessing this photo is circa 1920.
